Salman Khan turned cheerleader for India’s ‘Golden Girls’ Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Nitu Ghanghas and Saweety Boora after they bagged the gold at the recently held World Boxing Championship!  

The superstar was proud of the quartet’s latest feat and he expressed his admiration via Twitter. In the latest tweet, Salman Khan shared a collage of the winners while congratulating Nikhat Zareen on her big win and wrote, "When u met me last u had promised me u will win again and u have done that. So proud of u Nikhat. Many congratulations to you all on winning the women’s world boxing championships." The latest tweet comes as Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen won her second gold medal at the World Boxing Championship on Sunday, becoming only the second Indian female to achieve this feat. Furthermore, Lovlina Borgohain won her first gold medal at the championship along with Nitu Ghanghas and Saweety Boora.

This is the second time, Indian boxers have made history. So far, India has won four gold medals at the Women's World Boxing Championships.

Meanwhile, speaking of Salman Khan, the superstar took a backseat in 2022, after he made cameo appearances in Mohan Raja’s directorial film Godfather, Riteish Deshmukh starrer Ved and SRK’s Pathaan. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his two highly awaited films this year. The actor has already wrapped up the for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Tiger 3 is still under the production stage.
